Directed by Rohit Shetty the movie is the fourth installment of the Golmaal film franchise and marks Devgn's tenth film collaboration with Rohit Shetty. Parineeti Chopra is the female lead and Tusshar Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tabu, Kunal Khemu, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Paresh Rawal appeared in pivotal roles.
2 Judwaa 2
Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez starring Judwaa is the remake of the 1997 Salman Khan film Judwaa. Directed by David Dhawan, Judwaa 2 released on 29 September 2017 and got positive response from the audience making it the third highest grosser for 2017 with Rs 138.61 crore collection.
Rahul Dholakia's crime drama "Raees" comes third in this list with Rs 137.51 crore collections. Raees was much-applauded for pulling SRK out of his arms-spreading romantic avatar and presenting him as the bootlegger Raees Alam. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mahira Khan, Narendra Jha, Sheeba Chadda, Raj Arjun played pivotal roles in this movie.
4 Toilet: Ek Prem Katha
Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Toilet: EK Prem Katha stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. A satirical comedy on the practice of open defecation in rural areas, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha released on 11 August 2017 and earns critical acclaim for its impressive content. The movie earns Rs 134.22 crore and grabs fourth spot.
Hrithik Roshan's latest release Kaabil is a revenge drama directed by Sanjay Gupta. It features a love affair between two blind people, played by Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam. The film was released on 25 January 2017 and occupies fifth spot with 126.85 crore.
