Zeng Jinlian is the tallest woman ever to be recorded in medical history, reaching up to 8 ft, 1.75 in (248.3 cm) in height. She is only one of 17 verified people to stand over eight foot tall and is the only woman on that short list. She was born in 1964 and lived until 1982.
2 Jane Bunford
The second tallest women ever lived on earth is Jane Bunford. Born on 26 July 1895, Jane lived in England and measures 7 ft, 11 in (241 cm) tall, but there are no known photographs of her. Bunford was listed as the tallest woman in the world in the Guinness Book all the way up to 2001. They only showed a copy of her birth certificate and a picture of her skeleton.
3 Yao Defen
China's Yao Defen was the tallest living woman, as recognized by Guinness World Records. She stood at 234 centimetres tall, weighed 144 kilograms, and had size 23 feet. Her gigantism was due to a tumor in her pituitary gland. Yao died on November 13, 2012 at the age of 40 from an unspecified ailment.
4 Sandy Allen
Sandy Allen stood 7 foot 7 inches tall and was known as the tallest American woman in history. She mostly performed in the circus but was also an actress. Allen’s height arose because of the defect in her pituitary gland that regulates the amount of growth hormone in the body.
5 Wassilili Calliandjin
Wassilili Calliandjin was a whopping 7’6.5” tall and was known as Greek Giantess. Born on 1882 and lived until 1904, Wassiliko said to have eyes the size of hen's eggs with hands and feet of enormous dimensins.
