    Topping the list of Top 10 Shortest Cricketers in history is Kruger van Wyk. The 37 year old right handed wicket keeping batsman for New Zealand is 1.45 meters tall (4 feet 9 inches). Kruger has been onto the Kiwi squad for quite sometime. He has played professionally in South Africa, New Zealand, Scotland and more recently Holland.  He is currently playing for Central Districts in New Zealand’s domestic cricketing tournament.

    Walter Latter Cornford is the second shortest cricketer of all time. Born December 25, 1900, Cornford's height was just 5 feet.  A wicket-keeper batsman from Sussex, Conford was known more for his wicket-keeping than his batting. Playing for Sussex, he played a role in 953 dismissals and scored 6327 runs with an average of 14.61

    Alfred Percy Freeman, also known as Tich Freeman was one of the decent leg break bowlers for England in the early days of Cricket. Freeman is 5'2" and he made his debut to international cricket in the year 1924 and played a total of 12 tests. Freeman managed to pick 66 wickets in his international career.

    Former Bangladesh Cricket Team captain Mushfiqur Rahman is surely one of the grittiest cricketers Bangladesh has ever produced. Standing just 5 feet 3 inches (1.60 m) tall, Mushfiqur specialises as a wicket-keeper and is a middle order batsman. He mae his Test debut in 2005, during Bangladesh's first tour of England and the next year played his first One Day International.

    Indian Wicket-Keeper batsman Parthiv Patel is the fifth shortest cricketer in our list. Born on 9 March 1985 in Ahmedabad, Parthiv debuted in the year 2002 against England at Trent Bridge at 17 years and 153 days to become Test Cricket's youngest wicketkeeper. Patel made his ODI debut agaisnt New Zealand in 2003. He was the wicket keeper for the Mumbai Indians in the season of 2015 when Mumbai Indians went onto win the IPL trophy for the second time.
