Crocodiles are one of the most powerful animals on earth and is responsible for more human fatalities than any other large animal. They are aquatic reptiles found in tropics in Asia, America, Australia and Africa. Around 1000-25000 people are killed each year by crocodiles. Although alligators, gharials and crocodiles look similar, they belong to different biological families.
2 Brown Bears
Another deadly man eating species is that of the Brown bear, which has sharp claws and powerful teeth. Often called Grizzly Bear, this animal can actually run at speeds of 40 miles per hour. As a rule, brown bears seldom attack humans on sight, and usually avoid people. They are, however, unpredictable in temperament, and will attack if they are surprised or feel threatened.
Sharks are powerful fish. Sharks have been known to attack swimmers and surfers unprovoked. The Sharks have tremendous jaws, with 300 sharp teech to bite through the prey and cause instant death.
Lions are one of the largest cats in the world and belong to Felidae family. Lions are known for attacking humans for years now. In total, lions are responsible for over 250 deaths each year.
Known as one of the dangerous animal in Africa, Hippopotamus is a docile-looking water mammal that are very aggressive by nature. They are not afraid of humans and they will attack every person that enters their territory. Around 2,900 people are killed every year because of hippopotamuses.
