Completed in the year 2010, the building has 30,000 residences, 19 residential towers, a man-made lake which occupies 30 acres, parkland which occupies seven acres, nine hotels, and a shopping mall.

    China's Shanghai Tower has been ranked the second-tallest building in the world. Designed by Gensler, it has 121 floors and a height of 2,073 feet tall. The construction of Shanghai Tower began in the year 2006 and it took eight years of work before its completion in March of 2014. The total cost of the building was $4.2 billion. The tower is located in Shanghai’s Luijiazui financial district and the total cost of the building was $4.2 billion.
