1 Kunchikal Falls, KarnatakaKunchikal Falls is the tallest waterfalls in India and the second highest in Asia. Located near Masthikatte-Hulikal bordering Udupi-Shimoga districts, it has a total drop of 1,493 feet (455 m) and the falls is formed by Varahi river. When in full flow during the monsoons, the waterfall becomes a splendid sight.
2 Barehipani Falls, OdishaLocated in Mayurbhanj district of Orissa, Barehipani Falls has a height of around 399 metres (1,309 feet). This two-tiered’ waterfall is located in Simlipal National Park and is famed as the 2nd largest waterfalls in India. The source of the waterfall is Budhabalanga River that flows over the mountain. With the picturesque surrounding of dense jungles and mountains, the Barehipani is considered as a paradise for nature lovers.
