5 Places where Dying is prohibited by law

Everyone knows that death is inevitable. You would be surprised to know that there are places where dying is prohibited.


  1. 1 Sellia in Italy

    A small town in the Calabria region of Italy known as Sellia has banned people from getting sick, and warned residents to “stop dying.”  In 2015 the town had 537 residents; about 60% of the residents are over 65 years of age. That year Davide Zicchinella, the mayor, signed a decree stating that "it is forbidden to get sick in the town.  His decree was intended to raise health awareness amongst the people and the ones who took his words lightly were literally fined ten euros a year.
